Annie K. Jones

Annie started work at The Benedict Center in September of 2006. She is a former MPS science/biology teacher, a former guidance counselor, a former guidance director, and was a supervisor for middle and high school counselors. She has also served as an assistant principal at Rufus King High School in Milwaukee.

In her spare time, Annie serves as secretary/treasurer of St. Mark A.M.E. Church Evangelism Outreach Ministry and participates in the Hospitality Ministry there. She is coordinator of alcohol and other drugs "Quality of Life" Center program there. She also serves as a board member and secretary of "Transition: Men of Tomorrow" Program which helps young boys make a smoother transition to manhood.

Annie enjoys travel and has been to London, Paris and most recently to Sydney, Australia in March of 2006. She plays tennis and does scrapbooking. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and has plans to start a living scholarship for high school seniors in the near future. Annie's passion is helping others to move forward with their lives.
