SAM (Sentencing Advocacy in Milwaukee) is a web-based clearinghouse of community programs with the overall goal of increasing the use of community alternatives to incarceration by the Courts in Milwaukee County through:

• Facilitating easy access to accurate, essential information for a safely structured community pretrial release or sentencing plan.
  
  
• Providing information on victim/offender mediation programs and other victim services.
  
  
• Providing families and individuals in conflict witht the law assistance in constructing alternative sentencing plans and linking them to many other service agencies.
